New Year’s Eve Fire!

Longmont Buddhist Temple had one member who lost their home in the fire.  Everything was lost! Please consider donating to our Dana Fund to assist this individual rebuild. You can donate on our “DONATE” tab or by mailing a check to Longmont Buddhist Temple, P.O. Box 2083, Longmont, Colorado 80502. Anything helps. To make certain your donation goes to the Dana Fund either notate on your check or send and email to info@longmontbuddhism.org with your wishes.

2022 Annual Membership Meeting

Longmont Buddhist Temple will hold our Annual Meeting on Sunday, February 20th after the Nirvana Day (Nehan-ye) Service.  The meeting will begin approximately as 12:00 noon. At this date, the meeting will be virtual over Zoom.  Hopefully, however, we will have reopened by that date. The agenda will include:

  • Election of officers. The offices that are up for election are Vice-President, Secretary, and Financial Secretary.  Candidates must be members of the temple.  Anyone who wishes to be considered for any of these positions or wishes to nominate another member, please contact the temple president, Frank Ciskovsky at bison1011@yahoo.com.
  • Annual Financial Report for 2021 and 2022 budget.
  • Other items from the floor.
