The April 3rd service will be a pot luck celebrating Hanamatsuri and the reopening of the Temple for in person activities! Hanamatsuri, literally flower festival, is celebrated on April 8, commemorating the birth of Siddhartha Gautama. Siddhartha became enlightened as Sakyamuni Buddha and this marks the release of sentient beings from suffering and sorrow.

Mindfulness Class is a one-hour class that begins with a discussion on mindfulness topics led by Rev. John and followed by a 15-20 minute sitting meditation session. Following the Mindfulness Class, a discussion will continue in the Community Room. All are invited to attend.
